Accepting Your Account Invitation
If your school has signed up for Life Skills GO:
Youāll receive an invitation email to join
Follow the link in the email to activate your account
If you're an individual user:
You can purchase a subscription by clicking here.
Creating a New Class
Once you're logged in and on the dashboard:
Click Create Class from the side menu
Enter the class name to get started
š” If you donāt see the side menu, click the menu icon (ā°) on the left side of the Life Skills GO logo to open it.
Adding Students to Your Class
Click Students in the top navigation bar to start adding students.
There are several ways to add students:
From your schoolās student database:
Click the + button next to the studentās name to add them to your class
Use the search bar to filter students by name or grade
To remove students:
Click the ā button next to the studentās name
Upload via Excel spreadsheet:
Include first name, last name, and grade
Either drag the file into the upload box or click the box to select the file
Add students manually:
Type their name into the Search or Create box
Select their grade from the dropdown
Click Create Student to add them to your class
Printing Student Login Details
To give students access to the platform:
Click View student login details on the Students page
Choose between:
QR codes (for camera-enabled devices)
Usernames and passwords
Then print and hand these out to your students.
Assigning a Unit of Work
To assign a lesson to your class:
Go to Lessons from the top navigation bar
Click Assign Lessons
Find the recommended unit and click Assign To
Select the start date for the first lesson
Choose the day lessons will run
Tick Whole Class to assign the unit to all students
Click Confirm
You're All Set!
š Congratulations! Youāve completed your Life Skills GO account setup and are ready to run your first lesson.
